General description

This PhosphoDetect™ Anti-Syk (pTyr^525/526) Rabbit pAb is validated for use in ELISA, Immunoblotting for the detection of Syk (pTyr^525/526).

Recognizes the ~72 kDa Syk protein phosphorylated at Tyr^525/526 in human Syk or Tyr^519/520 in mouse Syk in 293T cells expressing wild-type Syk and CD8.

Protein A and immunoaffinity purified rabbit polyclonal antibody. Recognizes the ~72 kDa Syk protein phosphorylated on Tyr^525/526.

Other Notes

Tyr^525/526 represent the phosphorylation sites in human Syk, while Tyr^519/520 are the equivalent phosphorylation sites in mouse Syk. For immunoblotting the membrane should be incubated with antibody diluted in 5% BSA, 1X TBS, 0.1% Tween^®-20 detergent at 4°C overnight with gentle shaking. Antibody should be titrated for optimal results in individual systems.
